pendleton perfection
Pendleton is a real diamond in the rough for me - the rough being the endless selection of weird shit I find in US stores.
A bright, graphic beacon of hope amongst black, brown, 'playing it safe', more black, and denim.

Ken Nagahara

This is my good friend, the Oakland-based Japanese skate and motorcycle photographer, Ken Nagahara.
His newest exhibition 'Cost to Coast'/'Coast to Coast' is travelling throughout mainland Europe this Summer.
Cost to Coast is a chronicle of the 27 day motorcycle trip from Oakland to Brooklyn and back again that Ken and friends Max Schaaf and Chris Lindig undertook in Summer 2010
Although it has been previously exhibited in the US and Japan, this is the first time that Naga's work has reached Europe and is quickly gaining attention.
If yawl are anywhere near Germany/Italy/The Netherlands, you should check it out.

they know, they know, they know
spent a minute today trying to find a present to send to a friend in Oakland today and found these in a vintage shop next to my old high school in Glasgow.
